Smartphones: Don’t Lose Them!

The smartphone market is a vast and lucrative one, and we all want the best and latest technology the second it’s released. We all know that it won’t be long until something bigger and better comes along, and this only makes us want it even more! Smartphones have become a vital part of our everyday lives for people of all ages: Teenagers use it for social media and games, business people use it for emails, organisation and browsing online and elderly people use it for Facebook. OK, that might be a step too far, but the spectrum of users reaches far and wide. The issue when something that is expensive is also so valuable to our lives is that loss, damage or theft is rife and can cause a great deal of stress. The cost of lost and stolen smartphones is an estimated $30 billion – that’s a lot of smartphones! Some may be the result of carelessness, but others would have been stolen by thieves or opportunists. Keep your phone in sight and be careful when handling it around water and you should be able to enjoy it for a lot longer!
